General Rules

These rules are the foundation of our community. They apply across all KORDU.gg Garry's Mod servers. Ignorance of these rules is not an excuse for breaking them.

1. Community Conduct

1.1 Loopholes & Technicalities

Attempting to bypass rules by finding "technicalities" or wording loopholes is strictly forbidden. The spirit of the rule always supersedes the exact phrasing. If you are doing something you know is wrong but argue "it doesn't say that exactly," you will be punished as if you broke the rule directly.

1.2 Respect & Cooperation

Treat every player with respect. Do not argue with staff in-game; if you feel a staff member is being unfair, record evidence and file a report on our Discord.

1.3 Toxicity & Discrimination

1.4 Impersonation

Do not impersonate other players, famous personalities, or staff members. This includes using similar names, profile pictures, or claiming to have staff powers.

1.5 Ban Evasion

Using alternative accounts to evade a ban is strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent ban for all associated accounts.

2. Technical Integrity

2.1 Cheating & Scripting

Using third-party software (aimbots, wallhacks, ESP) or external scripts to gain an advantage is a permanent, non-appealable ban.

2.2 Exploiting & Bug Abuse

Abusing game mechanics, map flaws, or engine quirks to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited. This rule applies to all forms of progression, including economy, items, and map positioning.

Prohibited exploits include (but are not limited to):

• Economy & Progression:
  • Duplication: Any method of duplicating items, money, or entities.
  • Money Farming: AFK farming scripts, abusing job payouts, or exploiting shop sell/buy prices.
  • Cosmetic Abuse: Exploiting systems to obtain cosmetics, upgrades, or ranks without valid payment/unlocks.
• Map & Physics:
  • Map Breaks: Accessing "skyboxes," going under the terrain, or entering solid geometry.
  • Visual Glitches: Abusing "nodraw" textures or rendering bugs to see through walls (x-raying).
  • Collision Abuse: Using props/doors to push yourself through solid walls or kill players in safe zones.
• Server Stability:
  • Lag Machines: Intentionally spawning excessive entities or creating calculated physics collisions to crash the server.

2.3 Automation

Using macros, auto-clickers, or scripts to automate gameplay (e.g., auto-jumping, auto-taunting) is forbidden.

3. Communication Standards

3.1 Voice & Chat Spam

Keep the comms clear. The following are prohibited:

• Mic Spamming: Playing music, using soundboards, or screaming.
• Chat Spamming: Flooding the chat with the same or nonsense messages.
• Earrape: Intentionally distorting your mic to be loud.

3.2 Hate Speech & Doxxing

Sharing the private personal information of another player (doxxing) or using extreme hate speech is an immediate Permanent Ban.

3.3 Advertising

Do not advertise other communities, servers, or external services in our chat, voice, or via PMs.

3.4 Politics & Drama

To keep the community friendly, please avoid heated political discussions or inciting drama. We are here to play games, not debate.

3.5 Language

English is the primary language for moderation. Please keep global chat and voice in English so our staff can effectively monitor the server.
