Harvester
They take people. No one knows why. No one comes back.
The Harvester — "Collector of Souls"
They come at night. Tattered robes, blood-soaked, silent. The Harvesters are the Congregation's hands in the world above—taking people, dragging them into the Sewers for purposes no one understands.
The Story
Some say the victims join the cult. Some say worse. The Harvester doesn't ask questions. They have a quota.
The blood on their robes isn't from violence—it's from the rituals that happen after the delivery. They were taken once too. Now they take others.
The Wound
They were someone once. Then they were taken—dragged into the Sewers, shown the Circle, made to listen. The voice in the dark offered a choice: become nothing, or become useful. They chose useful.
The Fear
Being harvested themselves. The Congregation doesn't tolerate failure. Those who don't bring enough offerings become offerings.
The Cope
Hunting. It's easier when you don't think of them as people. They're crops. Inventory. Future members of the Congregation—one way or another.
The Want
To rise in the hierarchy. To move from Harvester to something higher. To be the one who decides who gets taken.
The Need
To remember that the people they take are people. Every victim was someone before. Just like they were.
The Hook
One of their targets recognized them. Called them by their old name. They hesitated—and the target got away.
