FBI Agent
The Feds are in town. Nobody sleeps easy.
FBI Agent — "The Bureau"
They expected a cleanup operation.
The FBI arrived after the Collapse—a flood of tactical jackets and federal warrants, sent to restore order, make arrests, and move on. Standard deployment. Three months, six months max. By year two, most of the original agents had transferred out. By year five, the assignments stopped being voluntary.
Ironhaven became a career graveyard. Agents get sent here as punishment now.
The Story
Fifteen years. That's how long the Bureau has maintained a presence in this city. Fifteen years of wiretaps and surveillance. Fifteen years of informants who end up dead. Fifteen years of cases that go nowhere because the corruption runs too deep to cut out.
The locals don't trust them. The cops resent them. The gangs laugh at them.
But every now and then, a Fed closes a case that matters.
They investigate the things nobody else will touch—federal crimes, corruption at the highest levels, organized trafficking networks that span state lines. The cases that get people killed. The cases that stay open for decades because closing them means stepping on powerful toes.
The gold badge on their chest means something. It just doesn't mean what it used to.
[!WARNING] The Mole Someone inside the Bureau is leaking information to the gangs. Every raid gets compromised. Every informant gets burned. And agents are starting to disappear. Whoever it is knows operational details that only someone with clearance would know.
What Drives Them
They want to make a case that matters. Bring down someone big—the Mayor, a cartel boss, Haven Steel Holdings. Something that gets them transferred out, that proves they didn't waste their career in a city that didn't want to be saved.
What they need to accept is harder: Ironhaven might be home now. And doing small good matters, even when the big wins never come.

The Investigation
They're building a case. Three years of surveillance. They need one more piece of evidence—quietly.
The Mole
Someone in the Bureau is dirty. They need an outsider to find them before more agents disappear.
The Witness
They're protecting a witness who can bring down a major player. The gangs want that witness dead.
