Gold Digger
Gold Digger is a roaming mining job where you dig for gold in sand/dirt, wash it through your machine, and sell refined gold via lantern. It's interactive, profitable, and doesn't require you to visit an NPC — just launch your gold into the sky!

The Full Process
Buy Equipment
Get a Gold Washer, Bucket, Rubber Mats, Shovel, and Lantern from the F4 menu.
Set Up on Sand/Dirt
Place your Gold Washer on the beach or any diggable surface.
Attach Rubber Mats
Put 9 rubber mats on the washer's extension — these catch the gold.
Dig with Shovel
Use shovel (press 4) to dig. Dirt goes into your nearby bucket.
Wash the Dirt
Pour the bucket into the washer, then turn on the water.
Collect Gold
Press E on rubber mats to extract gold jars.
Sell via Lantern
Load jars onto a lantern, press E outdoors, and watch it fly away with your money!

Gold Washer Setup
Setting Up the Washer
- Place the Gold Washer on sand/dirt
- Attach rubber mats to the first extension (not the main body!)
- Make sure the pumphead has access to water
- Ready to wash!
Right-click to freeze rubber mats in place so they don't slide around.
Machine Upgrades

Digging for Gold
Gold Veins
- Ground has invisible gold veins with higher concentration
- Watch the percentage indicator — higher = more gold
- If percent increases as you move, you're going toward a vein
- Veins are temporary — they deplete or expire
Look for the gold icon indicator on-screen — it shows you're near gold!
Regular Bucket vs Follow Bucket

The follow bucket makes digging 10x easier. Press E to toggle follow mode.
Washing & Collecting
Pour Dirt into Washer
Guide your full bucket to the washer input. Dirt transfers automatically.
Turn On Water
Click the pump control to start washing.
Wait for Processing
Gold particles land on the rubber mats as dirt is processed.
Harvest Mats
Press E on each mat to extract gold into jars.
Mats hold max 500g each. Red exclamation = full! Harvest immediately.
Merge Jars
Touch jars together to combine gold into larger amounts.
Selling Gold
The lantern is your selling method — no need to visit an NPC!
Spawn a Lantern from the F4 menu
Touch up to 3 jars to the lantern
Make sure you're outdoors (needs sky access)
Press E to launch the lantern
Wait for it to fly away — money arrives shortly after!
You can sell from anywhere outdoors — the beach, streets, rooftops. Just needs sky access.
Alternative: The Sieve (Manual)
If you don't have the Gold Washer, use the Sieve for manual processing:
- Right-click a filled bucket to transfer dirt to sieve
- Stand in water
- Left-click to shake/wash (rhythm timing!)
- Press R to empty the sieve and get a jar
The sieve is slower but good for starting out before you can afford a washer.
