Bitcoin Mining Guide
Complete guide to Bitcoin mining (Bitminers 2) on KORDU.gg DarkRP - generators, power cables, racks, and upgrade terminals
Bitcoin Mining
Bitcoin mining is a passive income system requiring a physical power grid. Unlike printers, you must manage generators, power cables, and fuel to keep your miners running.
Guide Accuracy
We strive to keep this guide up to date, but specific values may change with server updates. Always check in-game for current figures.
Equipment Overview
Power System
| Equipment | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Generator | Powers your miners (holds 1000 fuel, outputs 10 power) |
| Power Lead | Connects generator to miners |
| Fuel Canister | Refills generator (+250 fuel per canister) |
Mining Hardware
| Equipment | Power Draw | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Bitminer S1 | 1 unit | Entry level, 1 core |
| Bitminer S2 | 2.5 units | Mid-tier, 2 cores |
| Bitminer Rack | Variable | Holds up to 8 server blades |
| Server Blade | +1 unit each | +2 cores per blade (rack only) |
Power Math
One generator (10 units) can power roughly 4x S1 miners OR 1 full rack. Plan your power grid carefully.
Setting Up Your Mining Operation
Setting Up Power
Place your Generator — Find a secure spot in your base
Add Fuel — Touch a fuel canister to the generator with your gravity gun
Place Power Leads — These connect your generator to miners
Turn it on — Press E on the generator to start it
Generators consume fuel constantly while running. A full rack drains ~8 fuel/second, giving you only ~2 minutes of runtime on a full tank.
Connecting Your Miners
Place your Bitminer — Standalone units or a rack
Connect the Power Lead — One end to generator, other end to miner
Verify connection — The miner should show "Powered" status
For Racks:
- The rack itself is just a shell — it does nothing without server blades
- Pick up Server Blades with your gravity gun and touch them to the rack
- Each blade adds 2 cores of mining power (max 8 blades = 16 cores)
Using the Terminal
Press E on any miner to open the terminal interface:
| Command | Effect |
|---|---|
start / stop | Toggle mining |
sell | Sell accumulated bitcoin for cash |
upgrade | Purchase CPU or core upgrades |
Upgrade Types
| Upgrade | Effect |
|---|---|
| CPU Clock Speed | Faster bitcoin generation |
| Additional Cores | Linear increase to mining rate |
Power Management
Power Budget
| Setup | Total Power Draw | Can Run On 1 Generator? |
|---|---|---|
| 4x S1 Miners | 4 units | ✅ Yes |
| 1x S2 + 3x S1 | 5.5 units | ✅ Yes |
| Full Rack (8 blades) | 8 units | ✅ Yes (barely) |
| Full Rack + S1 | 9 units | ✅ Yes |
| Full Rack + S2 | 10.5 units | ❌ No — need 2 generators |
Fuel Efficiency
Fuel drain rate = Power Load × 1 per second
| Setup | Fuel/Second | Runtime (Full Tank) |
|---|---|---|
| 1x S1 | 1 | ~16 minutes |
| 4x S1 | 4 | ~4 minutes |
| Full Rack | 8 | ~2 minutes |
Fuel Burns Fast
At high loads, you'll need to refuel constantly. Stock up on fuel canisters or scale down your operation.
Common Problems
Quick Reference
- Generator — Powers everything, needs fuel, outputs 10 power units
- Power Leads — Physical cables connecting generator to miners
- Fuel — Add to generator with gravity gun (+250 per canister)
- Rack — Holds 8 server blades, highest efficiency setup
- Terminal — Press E to manage, sell bitcoin, and upgrade
- Full rack drains fast — ~2 minutes of fuel at full load
Values May Vary
Bitcoin exchange rates, upgrade costs, and fuel consumption may be adjusted. Check in-game for current values.
